Kamaljit Lehal Honoured with King’s Counsel Designation in B.C.

Kamaljit Lehal has been awarded the King’s Counsel (KC) designation for 2025, one of British Columbia’s highest honours for legal professionals. The KC title recognizes lawyers who have made exceptional contributions to the justice system through their expertise, leadership, advocacy and service.

Appointees are nominated by their peers and selected through a rigorous review process involving senior members of the judiciary and legal community. The honour reflects Kamaljit’s longstanding commitment to advancing justice, supporting vulnerable communities and strengthening the legal profession in British Columbia.
